BAGTAG tests at two more airports

BAGTAG has completed two more electronic bag tag tests at Changi Singapore Airport and Cairo International Airport, in July and August. The test in Singapore was done in partnership with Changi and Jetstar Asia, while the Cairo test was done together with Egypt Air, and under the supervision of IATA. Both tests were very successful and again demonstrate not only the backward compatibility of EBT technology on existing airport infrastructure but also its superior readability. 

We would like to congratulate both airports and airlines on the excellent results and thank IATA for their leadership in promoting electronic bag tags as the alternative to paper luggage labels.
