Check in baggage with the BAGTAG app
A number of airlines allow you to check in your baggage using the BAGTAG app. This feature is currently supported by Lufthansa, Austrian Airlines, SWISS, Air Dolomiti, KLM and Qatar Airways.

Wenn Sie die BAGTAG-App noch nicht nutzen, erstellen Sie bitte zuerst ein Konto in der BAGTAG-App.
Danach fügen Sie Ihren BAGTAG zu Ihrem Konto hinzu. Klicken Sie auf das Koffersymbol, wählen Sie die Option "Gerät hinzufügen" und folgen Sie den Anweisungen.

Verwenden Sie die App oder die Website der Fluggesellschaft, um für Ihren Flug einzuchecken. Öffnen Sie danach die BAGTAG-App.
Sie reisen zum ersten Mal mit BAGTAG? Melden Sie sich in der App an. Klicken Sie dann auf die Schaltfläche "Airline auswählen".
Sie haben die BAGTAG-App bereits für eine Reise genutzt? Klicken Sie auf das Flugzeugsymbol und danach auf das Plus-Zeichen rechts oben.
Wählen Sie Ihre Airline aus der Liste aus. Danach können Sie Ihre Buchungsdaten eingeben, um die Gepäckaufgabe zu starten.
Your booking reference is a series of six letters and numbers and can be found in your airline booking confirmation email. A journey is created and you can proceed to check in baggage for your flight.
Please note that if your booking is not found, there is a possibility that the arrival and/or departure airport has not enabled the BAGTAG functionality yet. Refer to the supported airline page for more information.

Don’t want to use the BAGTAG on a trip or can’t use it with an airline yet? You can still leave the device on your baggage by clearing the display.
First, locate the device in the BAGTAG app and choose the ‘try out this tag’ option.
Scroll down and select the ‘clear BAGTAG’ option. Follow the steps in the app. The BAGTAG should now be cleared of any previous flight information.
